Fenway Park turns 100!

     Boston’s Fenway Park opened in 1912 with the Red Sox vs the New York Highlanders.  Fenway is the oldest Major League ball park in the country.  Many classic ball parks were destroyed to make new bigger stadiums.  In 1999, the Red Sox owners wanted to destroy it, but fans, community groups, and local politicians successfully saved Fenway Park.  Every game has been sold-out since May 15^th 2003.
